Original Project Madurai header notices and editions are retained in pm0001-original.html, pm0153-original.html and pm0002-original.html, and text downloads. Their notices permit distribution with the header intact. Tamil verse: Tiruvalluvar and Avvaiyar. The English Kural translation/commentary is the historical 1886 Pope/Drew/Lazarus/Ellis edition, not a modern Tamil commentary. Spelling and period-specific interpretation are retained.

Derived study data pair the Tamil text and English meaning by verse order.
